Smoothie bombs to kill your cravings

Everyone who knows me, knows how big sweet tooth I have. Before I started my fitness journey and actually learnt a lot about nutritional values and how to treat your body with food that is good for you and gives you energy, my go to snacks when I was feeling tired were cookies and chocolate mostly. It was a vicious circle, because the more sweets I ate, the more I craved them. When I started eating healthier, I knew it was time to find alternatives. Luckily, I learned about the power of smoothies :D

One thing that helps me a lot with battling my sugar cravings is skipping processed sugar and instead focusing on eating more fruits. After few days of doing that, I always see major difference in my cravings, my body craves real food and regular chocolate or sweets actually start to feel too sweet.

So in case you are feeling like your sweet tooth is out of control, here are my 3 picks - yellow, pink and chocolate smoothie to help you get rid of those cravings:

1) YELLOW SMOOTHIE

Ingredients for 500 ml smoothie:

1/2 mango
1 banana
3 oranges - squeezed
few ice cubes

Blend all together, pour in a cup and enjoy :)

Preparation time: 5 min

Taste: sweet

Good when you are feeling like drinking orange juice, but want something more thick and fulfilling.

2) PINK SMOOTHIE

Ingredients for 500 ml smoothie:

100 gr frozen raspberriers
100 gr strawberries
1 tsp acai powder
50 gr of oats for thickness
rice milk (oat milk or almond milk are also good)
few ice cubes

Blend all together, pour in a cup and enjoy :)

Preparation time: 5 min

Taste: sweet-sour

Good as a breakfast alternative also.

3) CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE - my fave tbh

Ingredients for 500 ml smoothie:

1 1/2 frozen banana
15 gr raw cacao powder
20 gr cashew butter
60 gr of oats
rice milk (oat milk or almond milk are also good)
few ice cubes

Blend all together, pour in a cup and enjoy :)

Preparation time: 5 min

Taste: sweet like chocolate

My absolute fave one when I feel like eating a lot of chocolate :D.

Hope you give it a try, and if you do, please let me know what you think :)

Love,

Tinchy
