My current favorite breakfast


When one of the biggest motivation to jump out of your bed first thing in the morning is breakfast, you know it has to be good :) 

Even though I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast for more than a year now, I can't get enough of it. The fact that you can change the flavors of the meal each time you make it, definitely makes it easy not to get fed up with it. 

My current favorite is Chia Porridge.

So, what you need?


30 gr rice flakes (you can use any other too, or just ommit and use only oats)
30 gr oats (i use small ones)
1 tbs chia seeds
1 tbs shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 dcl oat milk, but you can sub for almond milk, rice milk or any else..I love oat milk the most cause it gives it the sweetness.

Cook 5-7 min. While cooking, if you see that the porridge is too thick, add a splash more milk for it to become creamy again.

Top if with fruit of your choice.

My favorite toppings are raspberries, strawberries & blueberries, but really any fruit you like will do. And if you add a tsp of nut butter and home-made granola, I guarantee you, your taste buds will be even more happy :)
